IYO SKY challenges Naomi for next WWE SmackDown

A singles match between IYO SKY and Naomi looks to be set for next Friday's WWE SmackDown.

During an interview on The SmackDown LowDown, SKY issued a challenge for Naomi to face her on SmackDown next Friday. SKY was mad at Naomi for getting involved in Damage CTRL's business last night.

Bayley vs. Dakota Kai in the main event of last night's SmackDown ended in a disqualification when Damage CTRL interfered. As Damage CTRL were beating down Bayley after the match, Naomi ran out to try and make the save. Naomi initially had success in fighting Damage CTRL off, but their numbers advantage was too much. SmackDown went off the air with Damage CTRL standing tall.

SKY is defending her WWE Women's Championship against Bayley at WrestleMania 40. Leading into WrestleMania, there's been a storyline where Naomi has had Bayley's back but Bianca Belair refuses to forgive Bayley after everything Bayley did to her while leader of Damage CTRL.

SmackDown is taking place from Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee next Friday. It's the third-to-last episode of the show before WrestleMania.
